Book Title: Yes Ma'am
Author: Langston Hughes
Characters: Roger a 14 or 15 year old boy, and Mrs. Luella a larger woman with a big pocket book.
The exposition is that they are in the city at around 11 o'clock at night and Mrs. Luella is walking around.
Rising action: This happens when Roger tries snatching up Mrs. Luella bag.
Climax: Mrs. Luella got very mad at Roger and made him come to her house.
Resolution: Mrs. Luella gives Roger 10 dollars to buy new shoes.

The seventh and final book I read was Yes Ma'am.
This book is about a boy who tries stealing a larger woman's pocket book. The woman got very mad and decided to make the best of it, she made him pick up the pocket book and she made him come to her house. Then she taught him to wash his face and, they also ate. Then later she gave him ten dollars to buy  blue suede shoes and told him never to take someones pocket book again...
This book is a good lesson for pickpocketers.

Book Title: The Private History Of a Campaign That Failed
Author: Mark Twain

Exposition: Lyman is piloting a plane with his partner that doesnt take information.
Rising action: When the campaign starts to go down and everything goes wrong.
Climax: The campaign fails and they have to stop talking about it.
Resolution: Everyone goes home from the war.
The sixth book I read was The Private History Of a Campaign That Failed...
This book is about a pilot in the war. His dad had owned slaves and he did not like that fact. The man had a copilot who didn't like listening to him. This book is about a campaign that some people set up, but sadly it failed. This talks about the history of this campaign. This man awas a brave soldier in the army who stood up for his team.
This book is very encouraging but I though it was a little slow.

Book Title: On The Gulls Road...
Author: Willa Cather
Characters: Young man in his 20's , Beautiful lady with red hair about 30, a child with red hair and blue eyes and, captain a general with white hair tall.


The exposition is that there on a boat heading to there destination in the morning when the young man see's a beautiful woman.
The rising action is when the man gets to talk to this woman as if they were old friends.
But the climax is when the woman gets very ill and gets weaker and weaker.
In the end the resolution is when he paints a beautiful picture of this woman so he can remember her, and now everyone can see her in his art store window.


The fifth story I read was On The Gulls Road...
This book was about an art teacher who had one painting of a girl... All his students and people who walked by would ask him about this painting, this book is the story of this painting. He was on a ship 25 years ago and saw this beautiful girl. He got to know her and talked to her daily, this woman was very ill. But she got  little better. The man always had a picture of this girl in his mind all the time, so he decided to paint it and that is the famous painting that everyone loves in his window at his.

Book Title: Rikki-Tikki-Tavi
Author: Rudyard Kipling
Characters: Rikki-Tikki a baby mongoose with a furry tail, a Son with red hair, a Mom who is scared of snakes , Dad who has brown hair and know alot about mongooses, Nag a big horrifying , Nagaina Nags wife and Darzee a little crazy bird, Darzee's wife, Coppersmith

The exposition is Rikki-Tikki is with his new family. He is in the garden in the early morning.
The rising action is when Nagaina almost kills Rikki, she comes up from behind and almost bites Rikki from behind.
The climax was when Nag was about to kill Rikki's family.
Then in the end the resolution is that Rikki kills all the snakes and saves the family from death.

The fourth book that I read was Rikki-Tikki-Tavi...
This book is about a little mongoose who gets separated from his family, this little guy learns to take care of himself, he kills 3 snakes in total too. This little mongoose saves his human family from death. What an amazing pet. Also he shows friendship to his friends in the garden because he doesn't want then to die. I want a mongoose...    ^   ^

Book Title: The Ransom Of Red Chief 
Author: O Henry
Characters: Sam a middle aged man, Bill a older man, David a kid with a crazy temper and wild and Dorset David's mother.
Exposition: Two men are in a cave ( Sam and Bill ).
Rising action: This happens when the two men kidnap David and he is kicking and screaming and going crazy.
Climax: When they find out they have to pay the kids parents to take him back instead of getting ransom money.
Resolution: The two men go home happy and without money, also without a kid so that makes them super happy.

          The second book I read was... The Ransom Of Red Chief by O Henry
This book was funny yet sad... Its about two men who are in need of money so they kidnap a wealthy family's kid... Later they find out how hard it is to take care of this kid so, they end up paying the parents to take the kid back and run away safely. I think this book iavid ris super funny since this kid is crazy. David (the kid) rides the older man Bill for ninety miles and then feeds him sand he also almost shot him with a rock. 
I really enjoyed this book.

The second book i read was Seventh Grade...
Book Title: Seventh Grade
Author: Gary Soto
Characters: French teacher strict man who likes french, Victor a twelve year old boy, Teresa a girl with brown hair, Micheal a bigger fella, Victors friend and other students
The setting or exposition is when they are in the school signing up for their classes.
The rising action is when they are in french and the teacher asks victor a question.
Then the climax. Victor makes a complete fool of himself by speaking fake french.
Resolution is that Teresa didnt know french so she didnt know that Victor messed up, then she asked him to help her.

This book is about a boy in seventh grade named Victor. He had just gotten back from summer. This boy has a major crush on a girl named Teresa. Teresa takes french class so Victor decide to take french class also. When he finally gets to french he makes a complete fool out of himself by saying he knows french when he actually doesn't. After french class Teresa was very impressed because she thought he knew what he was saying. Then she asks Victor if he will help her with french and, he gladly says, "yes". Then Victor goes to the library to get some french book and says, "its going to be a good year".
I enjoyed this short story very much.

ALL SUMMER IN A DAY BY RAY BRADBURY

Book title: All Summer In A Day
Author: Ray Bradbury
Characters: Margot a gilr who loved feeling the sun on her face, William a bratty kid who doesnt like Margot, other kids and teacher a nice girl who is a sweet person.
The exposition is when their in the classroom on a rainy day, as always.
The rising action is when they lock Margot up in the closet because they dont like her.
The climax is when the sun comes out and every one goes and plays, but then they realize Margot is in the closet still.
The resolution in the end is when Margot has to wait another 7 years.

The first story that I read was All summer in a day. This story is about planet Venus, this planet has not stopped raining for seven years. On this day the scientist predicted that it would stop raining and the sun would come out for 1 hour. Many of the children didn't believe this but Margot a little girl did. Since the kids didn't believe her they locked her up in the closet. Later the sun came out, the kids were so happy. They jumped and played until it started raining again, then they realized that they forgot about Margot, and she never got to see the sun for another 7 years.
